FRESH START: "Explore"

As the calendar year ends, I always pray for a word to focus on for a New Year. It has been interesting to see how that word anchors my thoughts, sharpens my focus, inspires my writing, and encourages my thoughts for a new chapter and a new year.
I have learned a lot in 2024.

You will never have enough money or enough time to do the things you want to do. But if you have your health, make a sacrifice to make it happen.
A healthy day free of physical pain or emotional drama is not just an ordinary day but an extraordinary one. Squeeze every ounce out of it!
An excuse is easy, discipline is difficult. One leaves you empty; the other gives you life. Choose wisely and slay your day!

Life moves fast! If we schedule the margins in our lives, we will end up frazzled, frantic, and frenzied. Margin is not only okay but necessary to live our best life. Give yourself permission to press the pause button and just be! Silence the cell phone, let the email wait, and be fully present in the moment.

Treasure the text, call, or visit with your parents. We often take for granted that our parents will always be with us, but even the greatest parents are vulnerable to the aging process.
Travel when and where you can. See the world, taste it, experience it, and live it. There is so much to experience and explore!

And that is the word that I'm keeping close to in 2025!
EXPLORE!

To explore means to seek, discover, and embrace the unknown with curiosity and courage. It's about stepping beyond your comfort zone, finding beauty in the ordinary, and living each day with wonder. ?✨
This New Year, let "explore" be your compass:
? Explore the little things—like a quiet moment or a fresh idea.
?️ Explore new places and adventures—far away or in your backyard.
❤️ Explore your relationships—invest and encourage others.
? Explore your faith—open your Bible, and let God's Word guide you.
? Explore creativity—try something new, even if it scares you.
When we explore, we grow. When we grow, we come alive. Let 2025 be the year you live fully, embrace the unknown, and find joy in the journey.

✨ "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." – John 10:10
